Hi Devan! It is awesome country. Which hunt did you draw - my wife drew the late rifle.Awesome, I'll be up there for my first bull tag this year also. Already loosing sleep over it.
Sounds like a great plan Devan - I will be scouting up there once in August and over Labor Day weekend. My wife and I have 032 deer tags so we probably wont be up in October but I will keep you updated as to what I see. Shoot me a PM so I am reminded to update you.I drew the early rifle along with a group deer hunt with my dad at the same time in area 171-173. Taking two weeks off and see if we can't pull off an elk within the first week and then down for deer the second week. Remind me and I'll give you an update when I get back.
Hi Randy - sorry I did not, I stayed east of Jarbidge looking at 072 and some of 073.Did you get into 071 or 061 at all? I have the 061,071 muzzleloader elk tag, Sept 1-16th.
I kept hearing about how awesome that country was but somehow never visited it until now - I don't think there is a prettier place in Nevada...incredible country. The area around the Jarbidge Wilderness is absolutely beautiful.
For sure! I hope to post some more pics once I scout it again in August.Very cool pictures, great to see it's still very green! Thanks for sharing!
