I’m planning for a late November northern Canada moose hunt where temps will be below zero and not too much above. I need a pair of gloves. I have a pair of thick wool and leather chopper mitts that I’ll bring but would also like something a bit less bulky with fingers. I don’t want KUIU or Sitka $100 gloves. I was thinking of something more along the lines of a good insulated tough leather glove that I could use while trudging through snow. Something nice and insulated but also tough to use for other “camp” chores. Maybe I’m thinking 2 different gloves here, but what would you guys recommend. I don’t know how the coldgear from UA or some of the other better known brands would do…?
Hope would the regular old wool glovmitts work?
Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.
