I was finally able to get signed up on this site today. I know you guys hate it when a newbie asks for gps coordinates, but here goes. I drew Muzzleloader Bull in 72-74 :D and Cow Rifle in 61,71 Early . I also drew a Bear :D tag this year. God has blessed me. It has been almost 30 years since hunting the Jarbidge area and that was for Deer. I have feelers out and will be talking to the Ndow Biologists and Forest Service for access. I also will be able to do a scouting trip later this month and then be in the area about a week prior to hunting. I have a friend that will be going with for the first 4-5 days of the hunt and he has two mules and then after he leaves I am on my own. On my previous Deer hunts we stayed in Idaho and drove in from the North and hunted the fringes of the wilderness edges. My thinking is first concentrate on filling the Bull tag, Then work on the Cow tag. And then work on the Bear with my Mule friend's Dogs between when he is hunting and the rest of life and before they den up. I also have a 3rd Rifle Elk Tag in Colorado. You all know the value of that Bull tag in Jarbidge so anyone with helpful info it would be greatly appreciated. PM, Phone, Carrier Pigeon-Etc, Thanks and God bless, Mark

I know rite now there are not many cows in the area. I also just saw photos of some nice bulls in the same area. They are there. I'll see if I can get the details on the bulls and PM you.

You're gonna have to post list of stories and pics from all your tags this year. Keep me posted on what you see on your Jarbidge tag. I'll be chasing em in November with a rifle... And leave a big one for me!!

Wow muzzle loader tag during the rut. That should be awsome! The bulls might be down in the lower sage flats at the foothills of the mountain. That's where they like to rut in the area around Ely.
Good kuck!
