I'm 75 and I remember the first deer I shot when I was 12. I can close my eyes and see it all. I am sure your son will be the same. Memories like this never diminish. I remember my sons first big game animal, an antelope in Wyoming. Had it mounted for him. We still talk about it over a little single malt when we get together.
