Well I had a little luck yesterday sitting in my stand. It's been cold and stormy. This guy came in chasing a doe past my stand. He gave me a shot at 25yds but there was a limb in the way. The buck and the doe went down the hill and I thought it was over. About 20 minutes later they came back up the hill and he finally gave me a shot at 13yds. He went about 70yds and piled up. It's about a 2.5 mile pack out in 4"-6" of snow. Gotta love the late season.

Here's a picture of the blood trail

This is where he fell for the last time.

Here's me smiling for the success photo.

Great job Maxhunter, are you hunting the front in Utah? I missed a 180 type buck Sunday night, called him in using the Primos Can from about 500 yds away. Came in on a run through the oak brush, when I shot I hit a branch and deflected my arrow. Can't wait to get out again I have the whole next week off to hunt. I wish where I hunt I could use a tree stand, but there are not any trees where I am at, love to hunt them from above. Again great job!

Yep it's the front! I found this spot about 5 years ago and it has produce 3 bucks for me. One was a 6x7 30" buck. It's a hike to get there but it's worth it IMO.

Good luck this next weekend.

I'll be headed after elk since I still have my general archery tag.
