My G6 Buck

Had an amazing hunt this year. We passed on 50 or so bucks and a few border line bucks but had the hunt of a life time. We stayed at brush creek in the turnout in our trailer and had a great time with all the other guys swapping stories and what bucks they saw and killed. I was able to kill my buck on Tuesday below dome rock. My dad was with me at the time and we spotted the buck at the top of the mountain at 10:30 and killed him at 3:00. Made a nice stalk and could only get to 312 yards and I put him down once he stood up out of his bed. Then I spent most of the day Wednesday dragging him out with the help of my hunting buddies dad. My taxidermist said he is 9years old and he measured 25 1/2". I can't wait another 9 years to draw this tag again but I'm starting all over next year so I'm looking for someone to go with next year. Congrats...I know that area pretty well as I used to hunt it when it was a general late season tag. My Dad used to have a cabin at Greenhorn and we took some fine animals from there many years ago. When you catch the weather right it can be outstanding.
