My 8 Y/O Sons 1st WT Buck

I've been hooked up, not much time to do anything! I have managed to get out hunting with the kids though. My son Pake killed his first buck last month during the statewide youth hunt. He is a 6 point, killed him with his 300 blackout (110 grain TTSX Barnes over 19.5 grains of H110). Really a great round for a kid at close range. We had blast hunting that weekend. He & I are both counting down to the 22nd, so he can go for round two! Thought I better post it before a few of you I texted the pic to got after me.

Go to www.budsgunshop.com & check out the H&R single shot in .300 blackout. It is short, lightweight & no recoil at all. They also have a Marlin 30-30 in a youth model that has a 12" lop as well. I bought Pake a 7mm-08 in a Savage Axis, it was a little to long for him. So I went back and got him the blackout, it fits perfect. He can step into the axis in a couple of years.
