It finally came together on the last weekend of the early hunt and I was lucky enough to tag my second archery, spot and stalk coues. Topped over a ridge to glass midday and spotted them under a tree at 113yd. As I?m planning my stalk, these guys made it easy for me as they got up and fed straight to me. I ranged a burnt tree at 60yd and they walked right to it, took a hard right towards some shade trees and stood broadside. He didn?t make it 30yd before tumbling over within sight! The solo pack out was brutal, close to 4mi with 2k+ elevation drop makes for a loooong leg burner!

Nice job!

Chop those legs off next time and save yourself 5 pounds. :D

Whats with the ninja mask? Doesn't that make you like 1000X warmer?

Gotcha. Never hunted in that part of the country. Interesting!
Yeah hiking it?s fine, but sitting and glassing for hours they like to fly in your mouth, eyes, nose, ears. I just cover up with the face mask and try to ignore them haha
