Mulies in the northern Bighorns

Have drawn a mule deer tag again for the northern Bighorns. Just wondering how the summer moisture has been. Last year when I was there everything was burned brown from the drought and the deer weren't feeding much in the open but were sticking to the timber where there still was green vegetation for them. Will be heading out in about two weeks. Thanks, Dale (The stickbow guy)

Are you talking about Region Y, since R on the west side would be hard to draw 2 years in a row? The west side, according to what I've heard, has been dry while the east side of the mountains have been getting precipitation.

More of the same. West side is dry. East side isn't as dry.

Yes, I am in Region Y on the east side. It sounds like they have been getting some rain there. That is good news. Will be leaving in a little over a week.
