I have 13 points in Colorado and I want to use them wisely. I'm in no hurry and i was wondering what units i should consider?

Rifle, Muzzleloader, Archery? High country experience or would you rather hunt late in the snow and sage? If you can narrow it down a bit more you might get better responses.

I'm interested also. I'm retiring this year, hunting ML Unit 12 in September. I'll have 15 Mule Deer PP for the 2017 season with a lot of time for an Archery hunt. I'll be looking for a unit with opportunities for a good representative of the species. As far as I'm concerned the best part of the hunt is the planning, getting there and then enjoying the experience. That's not to say I don't care if I don't harvest an animal.

If I were hunting, I would pick either a 4th season rifle hunt or a above timberline hunt. The timberline hunt will require you to be in pretty good shape. The 4th season hunt this year is a week later that last year and should get you right at the beginning of the rut.
