Sorry all, I wasn't available to comment this weekend guys, family is in town. I am working hard to go camping this weekend too in a spot with minimal service, so my apologies if you reach out to me Friday-Sunday this time of year.
First, the MRS is not going away in the magazines. The magazines will always be a part of what Eastmans' offers and the MRS is a HUGE piece of that. With print we are just limited in space, TagHub allows us to cover every antlered hunt in the same familiar system that subscribers are used to with color coding and many of the same data sets. It also allows you to filter based on the data and strategy that matters the most to you. And we are listening, updates and new data columns will keep coming, through the busy season it will be weekly.
The digital magazines will not be going away either, we have been working the last year to get a better mobile experience for that as well. What the team has put together is pretty cool and probably the most mobile friendly experience we have ever had. You should be receiving emails every month letting you know when those are available.
TagHub is going to have a VERY robust membership giveaway program. The best part....is that the gear giveaway program in the magazine as well as our forum and social media giveaways will continue just like they have before. Our latest giveaway is the Vortex giveaway that we just posted.
Another piece of the equation that we wanted to factor in was that we have heard from many of you that you want to be able to watch EHTV even though you don't have the right network. Through our own networks we can distribute current episodes, not just some of the older episodes like we do on YouTube.
Eastmans' TagHub also includes a combination subscription to both journals as well as access to the digital journals. So if you like the journals, but want TagHub to go with it, there you go. We also added the 7 day free trial so that anyone who wanted to see what was there had the chance as we know many of you wanted to see what you were buying.
That is the difference between a TagHub membership and a subscription to the journals. One offers a lot more benefits and we have done our best to make sure we are still giving long time print subscribers the same quality content.
FYI, we will be adding every chart in full form to the analysis pages by their species. You all asked, we are going to get those up in the next couple of weeks.
Feel free to message me here or emai me at
