I just learned that we will be moving to Colorado in July! Can't wait for the possibilities. The only part that stinks is that I won't be considered a resident for this hunt season. Yeah I know it's not the monster state for elk but it's better than having no elk at all like know. It's been a dream for a long time!!

It's the monster state for deer, and has the highest population of elk

Looking at houses in Parker/Castle Rock area. Working out of Aurora. Been out a few times as an out of stater, but looking forward to spending some time in the woods and learning the movements of the big game in the area.

Welcome to Colorado! Sucks that you have to live here for six months before you can apply as a resident. Guess you will have to pay full price for that OTC elk tag this year... But, you'll save a ton on gas.
