Looks like we are in the middle of another good sized snow storm. 24" plus in the mountains is what their saying. Elko county area.

The whole northern part of the state is getting a good covering which is awesome. Looks like Elko and Ely are getting a lot. 2-4 inches down in the valley in Reno this morning which is crazy this time of year, especially since I was wearing shorts yesterday.
It's always good to see the state getting some good moisture. I just hope it doesn't impact the deer herd in the Ruby's and Jarbidge too harshly.
Two years ago when I had an antelope tag in the Ruby Valley area we were amazed at how much of the marsh was completely dry.
Heer is a pic of the northern end of the marsh in August that usually has water, that's a dust storm rolling through. The road you see leads to a boat launch, ha ha.

They're predicting 2' to 3' of snow here tomorrow. Glad I kept the plow on my Rhino. Moisture is needed. I am sick of snow however.

Our winter here has been interesting. no snow down low, normal on the upper half of the mountains, typically we gain snowpack until mid april.
