I love it! If it was more than a once in a lifetime chance of drawing an elk tag in there I'd never talk of that unit. Good luck with moose draw.

Hey Ivory what area (not the unit!) do you apply for? I always apply in the northern areas but I'm guessing you're shooting for the southeast/eastern area of the state. The odds for residents in some units are actually great.

Just a little good natured ribbing. I wish I was in your shoes, it make take a few years but you will be hunting moose in the future. I'll be hoping for a tag in ID or CO. Odds are way too bad for me to waste money in MT, WA, and UT. I'm too far behind in WY, I'm cutting my losses there.

I shot a 45 incher in unit 14, in 2007,but it's gone down hill with more wolves in the area.

There was a new hunt in the unit I live in a couple of years ago. 5 tags for the unit. 7 of us put in for it. I have not drawn yet.
Probably California bighorn for me this year.
