Montana decoys?

I'm looking at getting one this year and was wondering what people think of them and if they are worth the extra weight when hiking around the mountain all day?

I give them a green light. I owe 2 animals to them. They are a good company too, support local organizations.

I have 2 of them. Decided to give it the real test today actually. The wife's dog will bark at every elk or deer behind the house or on tv so I set it up next to the shed, opened the door and the dog didn't give it a 2nd glance. I was pretty disappointed that a tv elk will fake it out easier than the decoy.

Which elk decoy are you using? that's kinda been the tough part for me is deciding on which one i want if i do get one.

I use just the rump. I had one of the big ones in the beginning but as you mentioned it was just too much to carry around the hills, thus the rump.
