Montana 516-50 moose tag

Drew this tag totally amped up .Just wondering anyone know anything about this area ? Should I try DIY or think about outfitter?What kind of bull should I expect for this country?Thanks

Agree, you come off wrong w/ just 2 posts asking for info. Will be the same for any hunting forum...common courtesy. We help out a lot of people on here and on other forums to those who are "invested." Good luck...any lower 48 moose tag is a great tag!

30hart, thanks for making a guy feel welcome. As you can see I only joined the forums this month. I am not from the tech savy generation so technology is not my first resource. I am more than giving with information. Please don't make assumptions about me based on your opinion that number of posts gives someone some kind of right of passage. Being a 5th generation Montanan we treat others with more respect than that.

Still waiting for that introduction buddy... You're new so I'll let those comemnts slide. Those of us that are invested in these forums put in a lot of time helping guys out. We see a million people w/ their first post ask for help on such and such unit, someone helps these guys out, then not even a followup post w/ a picture when they harvest. I lived in Montana for 6 years some of the nicest people around, but nobody from Montana I know would go up to a stranger on the street and ask for help on his moose hunt without first introducing oneself...that's the common respect we ask for here and my friend you didn't give it. That being said, good luck on the tag like I said any moose tag is a good one and I'm sure someone that has information on your unit will PM you and help you out. Go shoot a big one!
