Montana 411 Rifle elk

Just curious if anyone has hunted this unit for rifle elk and how they did

I drew the tag last year, and hunted my ass off. I ended up shooting a small bull on the last day of the season. I live in the heart of 411 and it was still a tough hunt due to access issues, even though I had plenty of permission on private ranches. If you aren't familiar with the area you might consider a guide or get someone who hunts the area a lot to show you the ropes.

The access in that area is very difficult. Tons of private. Good tag if you can get some permission.
