Montana 300 or 324

This is not an internet scouting post or a tell me your secret spot post.

If you had bonus points and stood a pretty good chance of drawing either a 300 Lima Peaks tag or 324 Snowcrest tag for mule deer which would you rather do?

I have been to both places and both have ample public land, I am just curious if any of you had the tag before, how you did, and what your choice would be? I am really torn as to which one to apply

I would go for Lima Peaks.

However,

Before you get your hopes too high, know that in the 2013 draw 0 out of the 35 max points (10 points) applicants drew for 300.

In 324 3 out of the 10 max points applicants drew.

So odds seem to be better for 324, but neither are a sure thing.

i have had a heck of a time getting the MTFWP deer bonus points drawing statistics to pull up. I know its no guarantee but with my points i am really trying to put extra thought into it this year.

300 is a tough draw. I put in every year for the tag and have drawn it twice in 20 season. I used to see lots of nice bucks but the past 6 years or so have been pretty lean. I think I saw 10 mule deer last year while I was Elk hunting in 300 and 302. Now I didnt get over to the Buffalo springs area so I couldnt tell you about that part of 300
