Just thought I would share the buck I got this year with everyone. Oregon has a program that they came out with not too long ago that allows each district office to issue out up 10 deer and 10 elk tags a year. The restriction being you must be active duty military, Oregon resident stationed outside the state of Oregon. The only thing is they obviously don't give away highly sought after tags, but it gives a cool opportunity because it's kind of hard to plan a hunt some years and if I were to draw a tag I don't always know for sure if I can go or not. I just had to go to the district office so they could copy my leave papers and military id and bam, they hand wrote me a tag right there on the spot.
