Met a forum member..

I was lucky enough to meet another forum member traveling through my area last week. Residing in southeastern Ohio doesn't provide a large market of western hunters and even less that may use this forum/site.

I had the pleasure of buying coffee for forum member, Prerylyon, from Iowa.
He was traveling through on his way further east to PA. Can't say enough- he is a standup guy and would be a pleasure to hangout with. He is always injecting good information or humor into the threads he participates.
We've been friends on this forum and texting buds for close to 2 years.

I've met one other guy through this forum who actually lives 30 minutes from me, but is moving to Idaho at year end. We meet every 4/5 months for coffee due to his hectic job schedule. Good dude and we share a lot of common interests and hunt/hobby tactics and styles.

I've had the pleasure of texting and pm'ing with a number of folks on a weekly basis, and hope to meet a few more folks in person in the future.

I have also had the pleasure of meeting a couple members in person! All great people! I think we are all pretty fortunate on this forum to be surrounded by such knowledgeable and good people! Honored to be a part of it and hope to meet many more of you in the future!

I also think that it would be cool if Eastman's could set up a meet and greet somewhere during the year. I know that there are a lot of members here that wouldn't be able to get to it but it could be interesting. Perhaps a conference room in a hotel up in Wyoming or Colorado where we could spend a night and swap lies, errrrrrr I mean stories about our hunts and meet others.

Man, just seeing this now; busy day at work today, finally reached that quiet time in the day when I decompress.

Very cool to tag-up w/BC last week. The feeling is mutual; all kidding about the internet aside, like minded folks can connect and form friendships over shared interests.

Did I tell ya the guy knows his coffee? We went to this place that had a kick-[emoji206] Mexican Altura that lit me up all the way past Indianapolis!
