Seems like a death wish to me. Just because its archery season doesn't mean folks aren't shooting rifles at pronghorns.

When I took my hunters safety class to get my license here in California, one of the instructors said he talked to a guy who works as a guide in Alaska and he had somebody take a shot at him with an arrow while he was carrying a rack on his back.
