The heat is an issue for comfort and meat care in OR antelope seasons. It’s a challenge for the cape too. But I enjoy it. Just take a big cooler full of ice to ice the meat right after the kill. Same for the cape.
There are 1/4 of the tags allocated to the random draw, we’ve got one there. For me, it’s a no brainer to apply for residents. But the more that opt out, the better my odds become... There are a number of other states with better odds and later seasons with cooler weather.
