Don't forget to mark your peep, sight settings before headed into the woods. I use a permanent marker on my light colored string for the peep and white metal pen for the sights.
For the ones going in deep.....don't forget your proper size Allen wrenches on your packing list.

It sounds important, but I don't know what you are talking about.
Peeps move. Things break. Things get loose and move.
1) Although peeps are tied in....stuff happens....most bow strings are two colored so on my light colored string I use a permanent marker and color or mark where my peep should be in case it moves. I have a visual reference then on where it should be.
2) Most bow sights have small white alternating large /small reference marks for vertical and horizontal references when adjusting. I then go the extra step and mark a white line once I am all tuned in. Things have known to come loose in the field and move and most guys don't have a reference of where it was to start.
3) For that reason of always something coming loose....allen wrench set or at least the minimum ones you need for your bow.

Solid advice- I had my sights come loose on a stalk 25 years ago. Ever since then I have pre marked my settings and carried Allen wrenches on all archery hunts.

Done it since my first bull 20 years ago when my 40 yard pin rattled loose in the truck that day. I did my best guesstimation and tightened it back down. Wouldn't you know that was the pin I needed that evening. Worked fine, but I realized that could have turned into a nightmare real quick.

Good advice. I mark mine in Sharpie on my lower limb. Been doing that for years.

The reason: Because something bad happened once. And I don't want it to happen again. lol

Thank you, Slugz. Had a gnawing feeling there was something left off my list - my allen wrenches.
