Does anyone know of how to make a zero stop for my mark 4 M1 LRT. I was thinking of finding a really thin ring that has a set screw or a screw that will tighten when tightened. Any ideas.

I can't believe leupold doesn't have it yet. Thats ridiculous. I use to have all mark 4 on my guns but all nightforces and just one mark 4 left. Vortex, nightforce,Schmidt and bender, premier has it but not leupold and the have been around how long.

i don't quite get it u mean tap it and then screw a 6-32 in to where it needs to be by screwing it up or down
I don't have a 4 but my old Greybull, based off a vxIII LR had a set screw in the top
Of the cap which would btm out on an internal spud when the turret was turned back to zero. You could pop the turret off and see if that would work on the 4t.

Interested in hearing your results.
Once I have slipped my dials/zeroed my turrets, I turn them clockwise, counting my revolutions until it bottoms out.
Then I will type it or write (Small but still easy to see when behind the gun), then use clear packing tape to keep it in place.
Looks something like this: E 1.7 W 2
E for elevation and W for wind. Rotational issues can and will happen to anyone.
This is not quite as fast as a zero stop, but it is just as effective.
FWIW-I like Zero Stops!
I will check it out see if it will work

i was just screwing around with my turret and there are no set screws on the cap or the turret itself so what i did i just counted how many hash mark the turret was lined up with and that will be good enough and then wrote it on the scope in front of the turret.

great find
I talked to the guy that makes them back when he was working on the prototype, when I had a Mark 4 with the M1 turrets, but just never got around to buying one. I talked to him this week, and he still only makes them for the M1 turret, but I just ordered a Mark 4 ER/T, with the M5 turret, and he is going to make me a prototype for the M5, when I get my scope in, so those may be an option before long.
