Just started doing HIIT about a month ago and man have I noticed a difference! One of my favorite/least favorite routines is the "Man Maker", I do the modified Seal Man Maker.
Here is a 45 sec video on how to do them,

A good HIIT routine is to do 5 seal man makers with 20lbs dumb bells, 10 forward and back lounges, 20 sit ups, 10 pushups, 10 body weight squats and row 500m for a time better than 2minutes. Do this 4-5 round and your blood will be pumping!
Anyone else incorporate anything like this into your routines? These things really kick my butt, however my wife and I just went on a 19 mile overnight backpacking trip and I could tell the difference. My core strength and legs have greatly improved (I do squats and deadlifts as well) and my endurance was better than ever. I know some say interval training does no good for endurance but I disagree, it has helped me!
