Has anyone had any luck with this style of paint? Looking for some info on how it wears. Thinking of trying it on a synthetic stock with a couple of coats of clear
there is a paint store called "Forest Paint" in Eugene OR on McKinley Ave that sells an epoxy paint with grit in it called "Firm Foot" I paint stocks with it all the time, works extremely well - the stone paint will turn mushy on you in continuous wet environment, at least on a gunstock
Rustoleum also sells a no-slip texture finish paint that I have used on gunstocks without the necessity of a poly coat. Plastics primer does help on synthetics.
