Hello everyone, I have been a long time lurker and researcher and it's about time I join and be a participant.

I am a transplanted Midwesterner after putting in 12 years with Uncle Sam. I have been planning my first "do it myself" elk hunt for colorado this year and I enjoy all of the reviews and advice here on the site (as well as the shows).

Looking forward to some elk discussions!
