Finally ordered my bipod and sling. Had to find just the right ones that were not only very functional with full range of motion and versatility, but I also wanted them to match the gun because I'm OCD. Well that and the fact had I to squirrel away some money so the wife wouldn?t be upset. This obsession, or hobby, can be expensive as we all know!
Here she is!
I took it out for the first time last night on a coyote set. This is a creek bottom where a lot of coyotes pass through intermittently at all hours of the day. The wind was perfect. I pulled my camera chip and had 1200 pictures in just the last week. Waited for about an hour calling intermittently. Unfortunately no coyotes were harmed in the process, but it was a lot of fun and a good learning experience. I did have one coyote howl in the distance to my locator call.
