lightweight tripod recomendation for backpack hunt

Just bought new razor 85 looking for a good lightweight tripod option for back country elk hunt in colorado

I have the same spotter and use the Vanguard Alta+ 233AO for it. They're about $140 now and it comes with the PH-21 panhead. I paid less but that was several years ago. For the price, it's far exceeded my expectations. You can find other lighter tripods out there, but like I say, this one feels solid, seems well built and won't break the bank. Most importantly, it easily supports the 85mm Razor. I've been using this tripod for quite a while now and have no plans to switch. In fact, I'm going to buy another one soon.

DR, what head are you using? I was going to get a slik carbon but I belive this one is lighter

I'm using the head that came with the tripod. Not the biggest fan of it but it gets the job done. I am leaning towards outdoorsmans new ball head to throw on it.

I can vouch for Vortex's lightweight tripod (referenced in above posts). Quality setup, especially for the price.
