Lightweight simple boot dryer

If you are like me and HATE wet boots here is a simple system to dry your boots bone dry every night even if winter camping.

Only takes a piece of pvc and hand warmers. Make sure to cut one end of the pvc at a angle as to support air flow.

Just put together and drop a hand warmer in each tube. The hand warmer will create warm airflow that will dry your boots.

Not only will they be dry but warm when you get up!

Heat packs like these the 10 hr ones or longer.

Also if you are not packing in or have horses a larger 2" to 3" pvc seems to work better as there is more airflow around the hand warmer.

Dont be afraid to cut the end that goes into the boot at a solid angle as it will help with the air flow as well.

Do you put the warmer in the end of the tube that goes into the boot? You could also drill a few holes in the tube to get more airflow.

This is a great idea. I use old fashioned leather hunting boots and no matter how much waterproofing I apply they sitll get wet pretty
fast in rain or snow.
