Well after 35 years of drinking and the effects it was having on me, 5 months ago with the support of my girlfriend quit. I did a at home detox, have lost 40lbs and am on fire like I was when I was 35. Well, a couple weeks ago I fainted at party, looked at my women and said I feel like I don't have control of my body. Next thing I know I have people looking down at me and calling my name. I was stubborn and blew it off but was still getting dizzy from time to time. This last Thursday I decided (with some persuasion) to go into the hospital for testing, and they found a blood clot in my left leg. Alcohol is a blood thinner so that may be the reason I never had this issue before. Moral of the story don't be stubborn get checked out.

So, today I get to wear a heart monitor for 72hrs, then I have a Echo Cardiogram, and more in depth CT scan in the coming weeks. They said I can go about my normal routine, so I'll be Duck hunting the afternoons.
