Looks like he liked lower elevations in June. I often wonder where the bulls go after the rut where I typically hunt. They sure don’t stick around much after mid October.

2013. I Here's some pictures from back in 2013. I was helping a buddy pack his elk out on the last picture. I had a stand already in place and was going to sit it that morning until he shot a bull. We called him tines.

Yeah a Spruce tree

Thats a huge freaking bull. Did you get a chance to hunt him?

Yeah I hunted him. Never saw him during archery season. A rifle hunter wounded him later in the season and a buddy of mine just found his sheds last week. Scores right around 350. Solid bull!
