My boys are to young to hunt here at 5 years old and 3 but I'm trying to convince my wife to let my oldest come sit in the blind with me at least once or twice this year to get him started.
The other thing this year I've gone fishing more then I have the last 5 years( after finding out I'm allergic to fish and shellfish I took a break.) I know wear gloves to prevent issues and keep fish for family members. My boys have come along on a trips this summer and enjoyed it. We have a dam near town that the salmon run to starting mid to late Sept so this year in started going down there with the boys after school. We got down there the one day and they were running and the boys loved seeing all the fish. The next day I brought them along as me and my dad and brother were fishing and letting them real then in with us. Now the my oldest ask me ever day if we can go see the fishies after school.
