I have installed and am using this APP. Its easy to setup and input the codes you're looking for. I however have not had my codes come up yet. Is anyone else using this? Has anyone had success with it?

Just my 2 sense here.....that apps a waste of money....and here is why I think that As a consumer you need to operationalize it for practicality.

1) Initial apps go in.......draw happens.....90% of the people have a plan they have been coming up with for longer than 1 year
2) Leftover draw happens.....those tags are handed out........if you put in for a specific leftover tag then you got it or you didn't
3) Leftover list comes out.....published enough time ahead of time to see if the tag I have been planning for is on it
4) Leftover list goes out for public sale on line and in person........I try and get my tag.....I get it and my plan is in place.....I don't get it and I need to plan for my back up......but.....can I get my back up plan tag ?
5) Less than 24 hours the good tags are gone

So this gets us to the conundrum. I have this app that tells me if the tag I've been planning for becomes available because someone turned it in......maybe I can call and get it......maybe others are doing the same thing......maybe my life is not flexible to just turn on a western hunt on and off last second.....I could go on and on.....lots and lots of variables.

Now there is a spot for this I'm sure.....guy with endless income that go and come as he pleases......retired guy......local guy that has more options.........and probably maybe even more.......for the normal Joe IMO I just don't see the usefulness of it. Quite frankly surprised the Forum took it on as a sponsor. Its just not operationally sound for the large majority of the sportsman.

Just my 2 sense.......for the ones out there that like it I hope it works well for you and helps get the tag you need. All the best good luck.

Good assessment slugs! I don’t have the need to even look into the app, let alone use it. It’s just not for me. I commend anyone who uses entrepreneurial skills to bring new tools to the hunting world. I also like doing things the same old way, and usually more so. If I needed the app, I would buy it. I don’t, however. I feel the same way about Go Hunt. It’s a great resource for someone who needs a lot of tags and who doesn’t want to seek the information themselves. I just don’t need it

This app is a very specific designed tool. Assuming it works, which I’m not saying it does it could mean getting a tag that took years to draw. I work for a living everyday and live in Alabama and could absolutely take off inside a few weeks and go hunt if I picked up a tag I was looking for. The returned tag/leftover list is really an interesting way to get a tag. I don’t know any other state that u can pick up a tag that took points to draw. I’m not saying you will get the tag but at least the app gives u a notice. I was able to pick up a elk muzzy tag that takes 5NR pts on leftover day and missed out on some deer tags that got gone

Good point.....as I look at the calendar.....post leftover draw to muzzy season is 4 weeks.....as long as you have the ability to turn back on a hunt that you may have turned off due to no tag.....then yep it works
