Has anyone hunted In this area for mulies or whitetails? What's the mix between them? Any decent bucks, 120+? stand hunting or stalking work best?

Sorry, wrong side of the border for me. There are a couple locals it seems like, maybe wait a bit more, sorry. You could scout it out during Sturgis. After the rainbows and now Sturgis the Black Hills have had an exciting year.

The mule deer population is down from 6 years ago and the lion population is keeping it low. However it is starting to climb. Mule deer gun tags are hard to draw. Good numbers of white tails. I have shot many over 120 through the years. Both walking and stand hunting is successful. I typically walk until I find a highway like trail in the snow. Then I hunt that with a stand.
