I'm gonna be hunting late November in Idaho and plan on doing two or three days of photographing... there any areas near unit 39 that will have winter range bucks already? thinking of driving and doing some hiking in unit 44 and 45 but have never ventured there before.. any help would be greatly appreciated..

while there will still probably be bucks in 44 in late nov they tend to blow out of unit for the winter.
unit 45, I would focus on area north of king hill. there will be some nice bucks running round by then. the nov hunts are awesome in that unit if one can only draw it.

MUCH OF 45 IS PRIVATE but there is a lot of public,north and a bit east of king hill. there should be lots of deer an elk in there by the end of nov.also lots of ground off of the bliss-hill city rd. just beware there are some open seasons still going on through nov. I generally stay away till seasons close on big game if I don't have a tag of my own. just common courtesy to those lucky enough to draw.

perfect!! i can completely respect that!! i would hate to ruin someones hunt that is that hard to draw!! ill be very careful if i do any hiking!! thanks again!
