I watched "Wardens" the other day a they did a fish test on Holter Dam which is above Wolf Creek. By the way keep looking for the material, it may be Organic. Meaning you might start looking for Road kill birds lol you could probably use this pattern and add some red,

Sad but true, I have seen these great resources ruined in my lifetime. I remember seeing 20 bucks a day in what is now called X8, you never saw a mountain lion lower than 8000 feet in elevation, and all hunters were truly out to help each other and they genuinely cared about the environment. Typical government at work here, put people on committees that have no knowledge of the subject. All's we can do is try to pass our lifestyle onto the next generation but that is indeed an uphill battle. Thanks for posting.

Use of Road Kill Birds is expressly forbidden within the State of California unless you can conclusively prove that the killing vehicle did not benefit from the use of lead wheel weights!
