Can someone tell me about the Living, hunting, jobs in this area? As I've looked further into places to relocate this area has caught my attention.

Yup, much nicer. You just need to do a tour of the whole state.

I plan on narrowing it down to three communities and taking a tour this summer. Right now Lander/Riverton, Sheridan/Buffalo have my interest.

Lander, Buffalo, and Sheridan all seemed like nice places the times I have been through them. I dont really remember Riverton. I think I was just a little excited about hunting antelope when I went through there! I would look at Buffalo. You will be close to the Big Horns and some good general deer and elk opportunities and some decent 2nd choice antelope hunts.

20 years ago when I was researching retirement areas, Lander was my choice. We looked for several years all over the west (west of the Rockies) and I just loved Lander. It was smaller and just had a great feel to it for me. Unfortunately it was not the same for my wife, LOL! I also like Stevensville, Montana, where my Grandfather was born and raised. Every time I go thru Lander, I kind of look around and say to my self "What if". Living in SW Colorado has been great and we made a great choice that we both agreed on. Been here 15 years this month.

I believe they are covered by Rocky Mountain Power. Pacificorp if you want to get fancy AKA Warren Buffet
