Should we draw this is my year to graduate to a tent you can stand up in and heat. Always used backpack tents but I always get older, and the ground further away. Came across an old GI hexagonal ($1.25) that will fit, with care, in the Explorer. We use a 10.5' 2x4 with one nail for the center pole and that can ride one the rack so everything can fit in the truck. Even so we'll use the trailer and have tons of space for all the stuff.

My graduation present is going to be a tent stove . Pretty well settled on the KK Inferno with the water heater and all the bells and whistles. Unless there's a better plan ??

I've never owned any of these things and I want to get one that being used two or three times a year will eventually find its was to my daughter's cache of equipment.

So as usual any and all advice is welcome.

I just recently found out about Kwik Kamp stoves. They have great reviews. The only complaint I've read is that they are heavy and that's for good reason; they're built like a tank! I'm hoping to have a Blaze in my tent this fall.

I have that stove it is heavy, but the vents work and the door seals good. they have adjustment as they wear too. I got mine as a kit with the tent. but have had great luck with them both. have had them about 8-9 years so far
