Kuiu golden ticket

Well unfortunately I received my winter catalog this morning and no Golden Ticket, the funny thing was that the cover it comes in has a couple little tabs to seal it and mine were opened so I don't know if someone looked through it along the way and took it (wishful thinking). But really, for all I know I won and somebody else got the ticket before me, I don't know if its personalized by name and address so only the person that wins it can redeem, thoughts? I'm going to call Kuiu today and see what they say...

From what I read, they bound the tickets in to the book so that if the ticket were stolen it would be apparent that there was tampering. Doesn't mean that the postman won't open the small tabs to look, then take the whole book when he finds one.

If it came in your issue of EBJ then it couldn't have been tampered with. The issue was Polybagged shut.

Yeah it just came in the actual Kuiu envelope sleeve, I don't subscribe to EBJ only EHJ...who knows I probably didn't get one just found it strange that those tabs would be cut, pretty evident that someone opened it...

I have heard a lot of guys say the same thing, Todd (BSA) addressed it in the Kuiu forum assuring that you would know if it was stolen. Lots of guys over there are complaining about the tabs being open. Mine were open in the two catalogs I received (one for me, one for the wife) as well as the one my brother got. I wasn't too worried about it though. I wonder if Kuiu kept track of the individuals on the mailer who got the tickets, that would make me feel a little better knowing that the prizes aren't being claimed by a bunch of USPS employees who found em and kept the catalog.

Whos knows man, that's a lot of gear they are giving away so hopefully they are on it to confirm it is the right person claiming it. On the site they say that if you win you have to submit a picture of yourself and the ticket along with name and address so they can confirm that you are in fact the entitled winner. Hopefully people aren't getting cheated, that would be messed up...Good luck man! Maybe we'll get something on the 2nd drawing!

I also received my catalog with it pre opened.it doesn't surprise me with the world we live in today...
