A lot of wisdom here CC!! The one thing I have learned from being married to my wife of 32 years is to keep her happy. You do that and everything else falls in place just fine.
Hey CC
We think alike. I got my wife a new Mazda CX-5 two weeks ago. Later that day I reminded her I would be bowhunting Elk for 12 days towards the end of September - she said no problem. Unfortunately I think my wife keeps the points I earn on an Etch-A-Scetch and shakes it every mourning - she is already making a little noise about me being gone! Oh well it is a nice rig.
This is great advice. For me I took my wife to Hawaii after my antelope hunt and all the other whitetail hunts over the past few years so not sure what this year will cost me after I get back from Idaho! However, she did hint at an escalade this week - #notgonnahappen!
Congrats on 51 years, that is a hell of an accomplishment! I aspire to be you!
Just celebrated 15 years this week C.C. I think I'm gaining on you. Lol. Congrats on the 51.
I'm building my wife a new house. This was the first year she was like ok just let me know how long you're gonna be gone. Hasn't had an issue yet. I think she has to be getting used to this since I have pretty much been hunting or fishing every year during our anniversary or her birthday since actually before we got married. I molded her well. Lmbo! Glad she doesn't read this forum.
Really nice set of wheels, makes our old Explorer really look out of date! The only bad thing is I spent over $70,000 on this and my new truck this year, really puts a dent in the old bank account.
