Had a great week. Saw several animals each day. A couple really nice Bulls. A trophy mule deer buck and lots of cows. Had a rifle misfire one cow at 40 yards the first night and didn't get another opportunity close enough for a shot so tag soup. But had a great time. Rut apparently hasn't started yet. Heard virtually no bugling at all this week.
The cabin at wild skies although expensive was a fabulous place to stay. Will be there again.
Fishing was off the charts in the streams and in Vaughn Lake. Caught about 40 trout in one afternoon with my buddy. Used a 3 weight and did most of the damage on small dry flies.
