South end is almost all public, north end has private land and access issues. Been through parts, hunted close by. Generally, remote dry stuff in the south. In the similar country I hunt, deer are found in pockets, suspect the same there, if away from the ag fields. Unless you have experience in that sort of country or help that does, your best bet is to scout, hope to find a few spots with bucks. The last few years it's been a tough one judging by falling success rates. Might be worth a call to the biologist before applying.
