It's That Time Of The Year Again!

Our local Safeway Market has it's prime rib roasts on sale. I bought one last night for less than $6.00/lb. It weighted almost 20# and cost me $106.00.
I cut off the rib section and cut 16 ribeye steaks off the rest. I am going to grill the ribs this weekend and vacume packed the steaks individually and froze them.

I do it every year and it sure beats buying ribeyes for #10.00 a pound!!!~

Too bad my nearest Safeway that has that kind of a deal is 120 miles away.

We have a Safeway's in Vail but it reflects Vail prices.

There were some pretty good deals at Sam's yesterday. We are going with brisket for Christmas dinner.
