I agree CC. Should have finished it then but there are to many politics involved and trying to keep the general public happy. Trouble is we go over there with our hands tied trying to keep everyone happy instead of going and doing what needs to be done. We really needed more troops there. I understand less was more popular with the general public but sleeping once in a while would have been nice too.

Politicians can't fight wars. This trend started in Korea. We need to get back to kicking ass and taking names and who cares what any other countries think. And I agree Cuba came to us for help we turned our back and they went to Russia. Iraq is asking for help if the help comes from Syria and Iran then that's who will be pulling the strings. And thank you to all who have served. It's my only regret in life not being able too.

When we went into Kuwait, we had 1/2 the free worlds troops with us. Public sentiment was with us too.....no excuses, we screwed up.

ISIS has declared its own islamic state in the area it has taken control of. It does sound like the Iraqi army has stopped them from taking over any more and has made some gains. The Kurds have retaken some from ISIS too. Iraq has received some used jets from Russia they plan to start bombing ISIS with in the next few days. They have a contract with us to but F16's that we have been stalling on and not fulfilled yet. It will be interesting to see what comes out of Iraqs big government meetings tomorrow.
