After eleven days without seeing an elk, hanging it up till next year. Will the exception of two days weather was always around 62 deg; moon was out full some of the time, also. During this time talked with two hunters who took bulls...everyone else was still looking. As the above
post indicates hunted doe deer on private property. Had eight ranchers give consent to hunt their properties. Only one wanted the Landowner Tag...all others just wanted them off their property....ALL were extremely nice and cooperative; even helped load both does onto my truck! Really had a great time but would consider another elk area next time. A sincere THANK YOU to all those that helped by supplying info/suggestions so I would have a good chance in getting an elk.so
