I have a bull and buck ML tags for unit 28/18. Our camp is just southeast of Dale Reservoir. I have hunted there in the past without much luck but meeting up with some buddies and giving it another shot. Any recommendations? Seems like coming off the top in the mornings and working through the dark thick stuff may be the best approach. I will be hunting Saturday the 9th through Wednesday the 13th and want to make the best of it. Any advise it appreciated.

Not a lot of time for two tags! Hunt high and way away from any trails. The elk like to feed above timberline in the am's and head to timber soon after. Bucks will be hit and miss up high, as some may have moved into hiding by that time. Lots of steep country. Work your butt off and you will be successful
