In the off season

What do you all do in the off season of big game hunting?

It?s time for vacations for me. The off season from big game hunting is my slow season at work. This gives me some time for bird hunting nd predator hunting. Time to spend with my family and get lots of chores done around the house.

I do a lot of competitive shooting year round. I run an indoor pistol league during the winter and do a few out of state Cowboy Action Shoots. Leaving in 2 weeks for 10 day in Yuma, Az for a regional shoot. I'll shoot a few quail when I'm there too.

I work, fish, and coach baseball. Baseball starts at the end of January and runs through early September for me. I coach 2 teams and my wife and I run the local youth baseball and softball league in our small town.

used to live for predator hunting but really don't get out much anymore.

I work. But when not working I waterfowl Hunt, turkey hunt, and I enjoy shed hunting in the spring! I also enjoy time on the river fly fishing!!

Just got a bow, so will be spending much time shooting and getting it lined up.

Waterfowl season runs in to Feb here, and my brother has a new spot. Once that's over I will start to focus on spring turkey hunting and getting ready again for fall hunts. I do some photography on the side (not my day job), and make a little $$$ to help fund my hunting/fishing habits : )

Might start working on the 1972 Chevy K-20 here this spring. My youngest daughter finished her HS softball season, and she's not playing this summer...so I expect more free time. Hence, the bow purchase.

Feed cattle, build fence & cut wood
