Solid buck from the summer to pass the time on another snowy day... Only 6 months until it is time to start backpacking and lookin again.

Any one want to put in a guess on score? Great fronts w a lot of character on this guy and just enough length on one kicker to well scratch that itch lol! Also is there any situation where this is not a buck to pattern once found as to most I would expect he would be a day 1 shooter on any high country tag in Co anyway.

Pattern him and shoot The elk video that is next is a pretty good teaching tool for the different age classes of bulls.. really good at showing antler vs body size vs age.

Back to the deer.....he sure is fat also.......I can hear the loins in the cast iron skillet in camp surrounded by potatoes, opinion and garlic. (loins medium rare)

Yea that elk video from a couple of years ago is a good age class video all the boys while they still get along. I can throw it up in the elk section.

I think that this buck is a maybe a old buck that is going down hill? What do the rest of you think?

Total white face even behind the ears. Big pot belly he moved very well but he just looks old and not young. I sure hope I am wrong and see him return this July.

Nice buck for sure. To me he looks like a middle age buck, maybe 4 years or so. He has great character, pretty good mass (hard to really guess because he is still in velvet) and great height. the only thing he lacks is width. Probably won't get much wider with age.
Just my guess, score....I really don't score well with out a tape measure.

Beautiful buck I love the character. I'd guess he grosses low 180s. He is pretty narrow. Shooter for sure
