Hey everyone I'm new to the forum and this is my first post. I'm hoping to find a little info on bow hunting the pioneer zone. I normally hunt 39 around Boise but I'm working up by Mackay for the season. I'm not familiar with the area so some general info on where might be a good area would be awesome. I have explored a little around unit 50 but I don't anything about 49 or 36a. My tag is for either sex so while a bull would be nice but I'm fine with a cow it's meat to feed the family. Any advice on the area or just bow hunting elk in general (this will be my first attempt) would be greatly appreciated. Good luck everyone!!!
